Premier Doug Ford says Ontarians deserve to see the same data on the COVID-19 pandemic as he does when he is making decisions. Ford says tomorrow the province’s top medical officers will provide data “on where Ontario was, where Ontario is and where Ontario is headed.” He said he recognized that some of this data will be hard to hear but added it is necessary for people to have the best information to make the best plans for ourselves and our families. He said the figures will be “stark”.

Ford says the change that the COVID-19 pandemic has forced Ontario into, to stay 鑫鼎彩票代理注册, to self-isolate, and to see what is happening to our seniors and our neighbours is hard to process. The province is investing $12-million in online virtual mental health supports for people that are experiencing mental health issues.

Ford says he understands staying 鑫鼎彩票代理注册 and practicing physical distancing can’t mean disconnecting from people, “You’re not alone, we’re listening. We care. If you are struggling reach out and talk to someone.”

Ford also says the list of essential services and is being reviewed. He said the province has to make sure that grocery stores stay open and pharmacies but a scaled-down list will be revealed in “a short while.”
